111 Positive Affirmations and How to Activate Them Without Repetition

    positive affirmations

Positive affirmations don’t have to be empty sentences you say to yourself, hoping they will magically become true. Instead, you can use positive affirmations to create new beliefs that will support your desired outcome.

How to activate positive affirmations in less than 5 minutes?

To make the most out of positive affirmations, create evidence as to why they are true. That’s how our beliefs are created, by finding evidence for why a certain thought is true. If you don’t feel confident, repeating to yourself ‘’I am confident’’ a bunch of times won’t make much difference when you need that confidence in 30 minutes to deliver a presentation.

However, asking yourself ‘’Why is it true that I already am confident?’’ will trigger your brain to look for the evidence.
I am confident that I can deliver a good presentation because I have prepared thoroughly.
I am confident because this is my topic. I know what I’m talking about.
I am confident because I know it’s a good presentation. No matter if others like it.
I am confident because I delivered a bunch of presentations throughout school and college and I survived each and every one of them. So I’m sure I’ll survive this one, as well.
I am confident because I am giving this presentation for a reason. If I were the worst person to give this presentation, then they wouldn’t even allow me to do it. Obviously, I’m good enough to give this presentation.
And hey, no matter what happens, delivering this presentation will increase my confidence.
I am confident because I know I can figure it out.

Suddenly, ‘’I am confident’’ becomes much more than a random positive affirmation. It becomes your belief and it helps you take action when fears and worries show up.

Sure, you can repeat the same sentence 100 times, but it won’t make you believe it. We believe what we have the evidence for.

If you don’t see yourself as a confident person yet, that’s because you’re focusing on the evidence that tells you that you’re not confident. Want to change how you see yourself? Practice finding or creating evidence for your new belief.

So, choose a positive affirmation that you need the most today and create a list of evidence to support why it’s true. Or decide on ways you can make it true.

Having the unstoppable belief in yourself, your abilities, and the life you desire will prime you to go in that direction throughout the day and throughout your life.

How to use these positive affirmations?

If you try to repeat 10 times a sentence you don’t believe in, you’ll be repeating a foreign concept. If you don’t believe what you’re saying, you are only creating resistance towards it. You will only give your brain more problems to overcome.

You don’t have to religiously read all 111 positive affirmations I’m offering in today’s post. Instead, select one that you’d love to believe and ask yourself ‘’Why is this already true?’’

Or, choose a random number from 1-111 and go with the one you land on. If you don’t resonate with the affirmation of the first number that comes up, choose another random number. There’s no point in sticking to one that doesn’t resonate in that moment.

Find evidence that will get you to the point where you end up saying, “Oh, this is actually true. It makes so much sense. How haven’t I seen this before?” Make it so obvious that there is no resistance toward believing it.
